Our client's charming cottage, rich in historic character, was no longer meeting the needs of their growing family. The challenge was to provide more space without compromising the quaint, unique features that define this beloved home. Rather than expanding upward or outward, we opted to extend the primary suite straight into the backyard, preserving 100% of the original historic façade. This thoughtful addition seamlessly blends with the existing structure, enhancing both functionality and charm, and ensuring that the cottage remains a true reflection of its timeless appeal.

The primary bathroom seamlessly blends modern functionality with cozy accents, ensuring it feels right at home within the rest of the space. A natural wood vanity adorned with a mix of brass and bronze metals exudes warmth and pairs beautifully with the off-white floor tile in a vintage hex shape.

The shower is where we added a touch of playful elegance, featuring soft matte blue-green tiles with satin brass accents and a solid quartz floor that showcases stunning veining. The commode room, however, is where we truly had fun—leopard print wallpaper brings a luxurious vibe that pairs perfectly with the hex floor tile and vintage door hardware. This thoughtful design results in a bathroom that is both stylish and inviting, meeting all the homeowner's modern needs while maintaining a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

For the hall bathroom, we aimed to infuse it with vintage charm while maintaining a simpler color palette. Black and white tiles were used to create fun patterns, including a delightful border on the floor, ensuring the space feels crisp and bright. The result is a bathroom that exudes classic elegance and timeless appeal, perfectly balancing charm and simplicity.
