Our clients sought to bid farewell to the 90s aesthetic in their primary bathroom and envisioned a design that seamlessly fused contemporary style with natural elements. Blessed with excellent structural features including a high ceiling and ample space, this bathroom provided a canvas ripe for transformation. Collaborating closely with our clients, we crafted a design that not only met their functional needs but also maximized the space's inherent potential.
Embracing a blend of contemporary flair and natural charm, we curated a design that harmoniously married sleek modern elements with organic textures. From the clean lines of the fixtures to the use of natural materials like wood and stone, every choice was made to enhance both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Subtle nods to nature, such as earthy color palettes and strategic use of greenery, further enriched the space, creating a serene oasis that reflects our clients' refined tastes and desire for a modern yet tranquil retreat.
In this expansive primary bathroom, our goal was to infuse warmth and sophistication. Introducing a fireplace was key to achieving this ambiance, strategically placed within a stunning accent wall of stacked stone that serves as a dramatic backdrop for the new freestanding bathtub. A sculptural copper light fixture enhances the stone wall, accentuating the vaulted ceilings.
We delighted in playing with metal finishes, blending sleek matte black plumbing fixtures with mirrored copper finishes on the light fixtures throughout the space. Vanity wall sconces and a dramatic sculptural chandelier above the bathtub echo this theme, with copper accents that elevate their presence.
Custom white vanity cabinets, subtly illuminated from below, maintain a floating appearance, complemented by a waterfall quartz countertop that adds elegance and texture. Extending the stone onto the shower bench unifies the design elements seamlessly.
Expanding the shower space allowed for a more spacious design, complete with a built-in bench and recessed niche for added convenience. Tile selections play a pivotal role, with large-scale plank tiles in a herringbone pattern on the floor, and polished white tiles in the shower to enhance reflectivity.
The result is a sophisticated retreat that harmonizes sleek contemporary finishes with textured natural elements, creating a serene sanctuary within the home.
